Prayer for Financial Provision for Koinonia Church

  1. Prayer for the Church Planters (30) – Need for mission support
  • Pray for the 30 church planters in the field. Provide for their daily needs—food, shelter, clothing, and transportation. Protect them from discouragement and spiritual attack as they pioneer Your work.
  • Pray that God frees them from anxiety about finances so they can focus entirely on preaching the Gospel, making disciples, and establishing new churches.
  1. Prayer for the Village Pastors, evangelists (20) – need for mission support
  • We ask for provision to support these 20 faithful shepherds who serve in villages without enough resources. Provide them with a consistent and dignified income so they can care for their own families while caring for your flock.
  1. Prayer for the Students and Teachers of the Koinonia Leadership Institute (KLIN)
  • We see the scholarships for leaders studying at KLIN as an investment in the future of Koinonia Churches.  We pray for the funds for their tuition, books, and living expenses. Raise up excellent, anointed teachers and provide for their fees as well.
  1. Prayer for the Sources of Provision
  • Holy Spirit, stir the hearts of individuals, businesses, and partner churches within Nepal and around the world. Move them to give generously, cheerfully, and consistently to this work.
  • Divine Connections: Lord, bring Koinonia Church into connection with the right people and organizations You have already prepared to support this mission.
  • Grant the church council wisdom to develop creative, sustainable, and ethical income-generating projects or ministries that can support the work.
  1. Prayer for Wisdom and Integrity in Administration
  • Pray for the church treasurers and administrators. Grant them utmost integrity, wisdom, and transparency in managing every rupee that is received.
  • Give the leadership discernment to allocate funds wisely according to the greatest need and for maximum Kingdom impact.

Prayer Requests for Koinonia Church Schools

  1. Pray for the Children’s Spiritual Growth and Protection
  • Pray that the children would not just learn stories but truly encounter Jesus Christ and develop a personal, growing faith in Him.
  • Pray for a hedge of spiritual protection around each child. Guard their hearts and minds from confusion, fear, and the lies of the enemy.  They would be rooted in their identity as beloved children of God.
  • Pray that the seeds of God’s Word planted in their hearts would take deep root, be understood, and remembered throughout their lives.
  • Pray that church school is a place of great joy, friendship, and positive fellowship, where children feel loved, safe, and excited to learn about God.
  1. For the Teachers: Anointing and Strength
  • Pray that teachers are anointed by the Holy Spirit—not just teaching in their own strength, but with divine wisdom, creativity, and power.
  • Pray for an abundance of patience, compassion, and love for each child, especially for those who are challenging or distracted.
  • Pray that teachers remain strong in their own faith. Protect them from burnout and ensure their own spiritual wells are full so they can pour into the children.
  • Grant teachers discernment to see the individual needs of each child and wisdom to address them appropriately.

  • Pray for the selection and development of a curriculum that is biblically sound, engaging, and effectively communicates the gospel to young hearts and minds.
  • Pray for creative and age-appropriate materials that capture the children’s attention and make learning about God fun and memorable.
  • Pray for the provision of all necessary resources—from books and crafts to technology—and for the funds to obtain them.

  1. For Divine Wisdom and Discernment:
  • Pray that God grants them supernatural wisdom that surpasses human understanding.
  • Pray for clear discernment to distinguish between human ideas and God’s perfect will for the church.
  • Pray that every decision, big or small, is made under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

  • Pray that God gives them a single, shared vision for the future of the church, aligned with Christ’s mission.

  • Pray for supernatural provision of finances, materials, and logistical support needed for this massive undertaking. Pray for generous donors and creative funding solutions.
  1. For Raising and Sending Laborers:
  • Pray that God calls, prepares, and anoints hundreds of church planters, evangelists, and pastoral teams with the courage and resilience to pioneer new works.
  • Pray for the families of these laborers, for their protection, strength, and unity.
  1. For Open Doors and Favor:
  • Pray for divine favor with government authorities, local communities, and other organizations. Pray for open doors in regions that are resistant to the gospel.
  • Pray for breakthroughs in areas with spiritual strongholds.
  1. For Signs, Wonders, and Growth:
  • Pray that the establishment of each new church is accompanied by the Holy Spirit’s power—through signs, wonders, and changed lives—attracting many to Christ.
  • Pray for healthy, reproducing, and self-sustaining churches that become pillars in their communities.
  • Prayer for the Success of Family Discipleship Ministry
  1. For a Revelation of the Home as the Primary Disciple-Making Center:
  • Pray that every believer at Koinonia receives a fresh revelation from God that their first and most important ministry is their own family.
  • Pray against the idea that discipleship only happens at church, and ignite a passion for generational faithfulness.
  • “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” – Deuteronomy 6:7
  1. For Equipping and Empowerment of Parents:
  • Pray that the church provides excellent resources, training, and ongoing support for parents and spouses to lead their families spiritually.
  • Pray for fathers and mothers to rise up as confident spiritual leaders in their homes.
  1. For Transformation and Unity in Families:
  • Pray for healing of broken relationships within families. Pray for unity, open communication, and a shared love for Christ to bind families together.
  • Pray that family prayer, worship, and Bible study become a natural and joyful part of daily life.
  1. For a Multiplication Effect:
  • Pray that discipled families naturally become evangelistic units, reaching out to their extended families, neighbors, and communities, thus fulfilling the “make disciples” command starting from their Jerusalem.
  • Pray for the children in these families to become mighty men and women of God, continuing the legacy of faith.

1. Prayer for the Central Committee & Office Bearers:

  • Pray that those in overall leadership are granted divine wisdom to steward the vision, resources, and direction of the church faithfully.
  • Pray that they lead with the heart of a servant, following Christ’s example of humility and love, not seeking power but empowerment from the Holy Spirit. 
  • Pray for clarity and unity in understanding and communicating God’s specific vision for Koinonia Church.

2. Prayer for All 8 Ministry Department Coordinators:

  • Anointing and Empowerment: Pray that each coordinator is freshly anointed by the Holy Spirit for their specific task, receiving creativity, energy, and passion for their ministry area.
  • Divine Connections: Pray that God brings the right volunteers and team members alongside each coordinator, equipping every department for effective works of service. 
  • Protection from Burnout: Pray for spiritual, physical, and emotional strength. Guard them against overwhelm, discouragement, and burnout.

3. Prayer for Unity Across All Departments (The Core of Koinonia):

  • Pray fiercely for a spirit of unity and harmony to prevail among all departments. Pray against any spirit of competition, territorialism, or miscommunication.
  • Pray that departments see themselves as interconnected parts of one body, willingly joining hands and sharing resources to achieve the common goal of glorifying Christ. 
  • Celebration of Each Other: Pray for a culture where departments celebrate each other’s successes and support each other’s challenges, understanding that a win for one is a win for the entire church.
