Koinonia Leadership Institute
Established in 2012, the Koinonia Leadership Institute was created to train and develop leaders for Koinonia churches and beyond. The institute offers two levels of leadership development courses: a Diploma in Leadership (DLS), which spans three years, and a Certificate in Leadership (CLS), a one-year program. These courses aim to equip pastors, elders, deacons, house fellowship leaders, youth leaders, and other church workers with essential leadership skills and biblical knowledge.
Since its inception, the institute has successfully graduated over 200 students, contributing significantly to the spiritual and administrative growth of church leadership. These graduates have gone on to serve faithfully in various capacities within the church community.
KLIN’s need
Despite its achievements, the institute is currently facing urgent needs for financial support, particularly to provide scholarships to deserving leaders who are unable to afford the minimal course fees. Additional pressing needs include acquiring basic equipment such as laptops, LCD projectors, digital boards for classrooms, and books for the institute’s library. The institute also requires funds to cover administrative expenses essential for its smooth operation.
Governance of KLIN
Governance of the institute is entrusted to a six-member independent board, responsible for strategic oversight and decision-making. The day-to-day operations and educational activities are managed by a full-time principal, ensuring professional administration and effective implementation of the institute’s mission.
