Koinonia Mission Department

The Church Planting and Mission Department of the Koinonia Church Council is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by establishing churches, spreading the Gospel, and empowering communities through faith-based initiatives. Rooted in prayer and biblical principles, the department works diligently to train leaders, support new churches, and bring holistic transformation to societies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Church Planting & Expansion – Strategically establish new churches and strengthen existing congregations.
2. Missionary Training & Deployment – Equip and send missionaries to new regions for evangelism and church growth.
3. Evangelism & Outreach Programs – Conduct gospel-centered events, revival meetings, and community engagement activities.
4. Discipleship & Leadership Development – Train pastors, church leaders, and believers in discipleship and ministry leadership.
5. Prayer & Intercession Ministry – Facilitate prayer movements, fasting programs, and intercession for spiritual growth.
6. Resource Management & Support – Mobilize financial and material support for missionaries and newly planted churches.
7. Follow-up & Strengthening Churches – Provide mentorship, oversight, and guidance to ensure sustainability and growth.
8. Community Transformation Initiatives – Implement social programs that address education, healthcare, and economic development.
9. Networking & Partnerships – Collaborate with local and international churches and organizations for mission support.
10. Gospel Literature & Media Outreach – Develop and distribute evangelistic resources, including books, digital content, and media programs.
