Koinonia Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry of the Koinonia Church Council aims to nurture spiritual growth, empower leadership, and engage young believers in meaningful fellowship. Our vision is to cultivate a strong, faith-driven youth community that actively contributes to the church and society.

Leadership & Structure

• The ministry is headed by a council board member, serving as the Overall Coordinator.
• The Youth Central Committee, comprising 9 members, overseas ministry operations.
• Regional, District, and Provincial Committees also consist of 9 members each, facilitating local youth engagement.

The ministry is responsible for:

1. Organizing Gatherings & Fellowship

• • Facilitates combined youth gatherings to promote unity, faith-building, and networking.
  • Organizes youth fellowship programs for collective spiritual development.

2. Spiritual Formation & Activities

• • Hosts various activities including Bible quizzes, creative writing, sports, and singing competitions to encourage holistic spiritual formation.
  • Provides guidance for Bible study groups and other programs that deepen biblical knowledge and faith.

3. Leadership Development

• • Conducts leadership training to equip young members with skills to serve effectively in the ministry.
  • Mentors youth in church leadership roles and encourages active involvement.

4. Support & Volunteer Initiatives

• • Offers support to Provincial, District, and Regional Committees, ensuring alignment and effective implementation of youth programs.
  • Provides volunteer assistance for major events, including Christmas celebrations, mission conferences, and other church functions.

5. Personal Growth & Career Guidance

• • Organizes motivational and counseling programs to help youth navigate their career paths, choose university subjects, and discern ministry callings.
  • Encourages youth participation in various ministries of the church, fostering engagement in service and community development.

6. Spiritual Guidance & Development

• • Leads Bible study sessions and provides mentorship to strengthen the faith of young believers.
  • Develops programs and retreats to enhance spiritual growth, prayer life, and biblical understanding.

7. Decision-Making & Implementation

• • The Youth Central Committee collaborates with regional and district teams to formulate action plans.
  • Regular meetings are held to assess progress, discuss new initiatives, and ensure alignment with church objectives.

8. Financial & Resource Management

• • The ministry seeks funding through church contributions, fundraising activities, and sponsorships.
  • Budget planning is conducted to support youth programs and special events.

9. Monitoring & Evaluation

• • Performance and impact assessments are carried out annually to measure effectiveness.
  • Feedback mechanisms are established for youth members to contribute ideas and improvements.
