Karnali Province

Karnali Province (कर्णाली प्रदेश) is the largest province of Nepal by area (27,984 km²) but the least populated, with about 1.57 million people (2011 census). Its capital and largest city is Birendranagar. The province borders Tibet (China) to the north, Gandaki to the east, Sudurpashchim to the west, and Lumbini to the south.
